Ananda Mela Awards 2026 to Be Held in the United States on July 25–26
The dates for the 2026 Aaonda Mela have officially been announced. During an event organized by the USA Moreno Valley Sports Club in California, Ananda Mela President Sharif Hasibul confirmed that the festival will take place on July 25 and 26, 2026. As in previous years, the event will honor excellence across multiple categories. A Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to a living legendary artist, alongside awards for Player of the Era and a Lifetime Achievement Award recognizing outstanding contributions within the Los Angeles community. Additionally, five individuals will receive the Student of the Year Award.
Other recognitions include the Proud Parents Award and the Best Couple of the Year in Los Angeles. The event will also feature live performances by renowned Bangladeshi artists, including Akhil Alamgir, Dilshad Nahar Kona and Imran Mahmudul, among others. This year’s Ananda Mela will be held at a scenic location near the iconic Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles. Among those present at the announcement were Ananda Mela founder Khan Mohammad Ali, Chief Advisor Shipar Chowdhury, Chief Patron Nasir Khan, Chief Coordinator Zia Shawon, Convener Daud Bafatia, Vice President M Nabi Sumon and Vice President Shahriar Sultan, along with many others.
