Cheque distribution, discussion meeting organized by Rajshahi Zila Parishad

A discussion meeting and cheque distribution ceremony for various development projects, organized by Rajshahi Zila Parishad, was held.  The discussion meeting and cheque distribution ceremony took place today in the conference room of the Zila Parishad. The event was conducted by Ummay Fatema, Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad. The chief guest present was Advocate Md. Ershad Ali (Isha), Administrator of Rajshahi Zila Parishad. In his speech as the chief guest, he said that although Rajshahi Zila Parishad does not have large projects worth crores of taka, it has small development projects that play an important role in the overall development of society.

He further said that the Zila Parishad is fulfilling its humanitarian responsibilities by assisting helpless and destitute people, meritorious students, and for medical treatment. He expressed hope that such assistance activities will continue in the future. After the discussion meeting, cheques worth Taka 21.72 lakh were distributed among 28 beneficiaries. Various officials and staff of the Zila Parishad, beneficiaries, and representatives from different institutions were also present at the event.
