Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a joint operation has uncovered a large quantity of illegally stored soybean oil in Rupganj Upazila in the early hours of today. Acting on a tip-off, the joint team from BGB (62 BGB) and RAB conducted a raid at around 1:00 am at a warehouse located at Tarabo Kazipara intersection, according to a RAB press release. The facility was reportedly owned by two individuals, Raju and Khorshed.
During the drive, officials found nine barrels containing approximately 2,000 liters of soybean oil stored illegally.
