Prayer meeting held in Patuakhali for Khaleda Zia
A prayer and munajat were offered in the district seeking eternal peace of the soul of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The meeting was organized by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) with the participation of local leaders and workers. The program took place at 11:00 am at the hall room of Gachani Secondary School in Banshbariya Union under Dashmina upazila of the district.
The meeting was chaired by Joint Convener of Dashmina upazila BNP Md. Amin Hawlader and moderated by Union Jubo Dal leader Jasim Uddin. Dashmina upazila BNP Convener Siddiq Ahmed Molla attended the programme as the chief guest. Among others, Member Secretary of the party Shah Alam Shanu, Joint Conveners Ismail Melkar and Abdul Hai Panchayet, Dhaka South City unit Joint Convener of Jatiatabadi Matshajibi Dal Gias Uddin Hawlader and Convener Committee Member Rashed Akon, along with leaders and activists from various levels were present at the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Siddiq Ahmed Molla said that those previously involved in extortion, land grabbing, or arbitration trade in the party’s name would not be included in any BNP committees. He also emphasized restructuring the party. Leaders at the meeting offered special prayers seeking divine blessing for Begum Khaleda Zia.
