RAJUK Expresses Grief and Sympathy Over the Fatal Plane Crash in Diabari

This Monday morning, a tragic incident occurred at the Milestone School and College campus in Diabari, Uttara, Dhaka, where a Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training aircraft crashed. In response, the Capital Development Authority (RAJUK) has expressed profound sorrow and sympathy. In a condolence message, RAJUK Chairman Engineer Md. Riazul Islam said, “We at RAJUK are deeply saddened by this heartbreaking accident that claimed the lives of a pilot, students, guardians, and teachers. This loss is irreparable.” He prayed for the departed souls and wished for the swift recovery of the injured.
The RAJUK Chairman also urged all concerned service agencies—including hospitals, fire services, and law enforcement—to give utmost priority in managing the situation. Immediately after the incident, the RAJUK Chairman visited the crash site and initiated primary assistance measures on behalf of the authority. He stated that RAJUK will coordinate with the relevant authorities to ensure a proper investigation of the incident and to take effective measures to prevent such accidents in the future. RAJUK has called on city residents to remain patient during this time of mourning and to refrain from spreading rumors or misleading information related to the incident.
