RSSP holds its 1257th literary meeting in Rangpur
The 1257th literary meeting of Rangpur Sahitya-Sangskriti Parishad (RSSP) was held at its Town Hall office on Friday The meeting, chaired by the organization's president and educationist Dr Nasima Akter. A large number of poets, writers, artists and cultural activists attended the programme Professor Mohammad Shah Alam presented a paper on "Sports and cultural activities to maintain social harmony."
Professor Atahar Ali Khan recited and analyzed his poems, while Advocate Masum Hasan recited poems of Rabindranath Tagore. Several poets recited their self-composed poems, and Sharif Ahmed performed his own music. Poet Sufi Zahid Hossain gifted his poetry book "Tumi, Ami, Prem" to the organization. The programme was moderated by general secretary Mamun Ur Rashid.
