Sarees and lungis distributed among underprivileged people in Naogaon

Member of Parliament for Naogaon-3 (Badalgachhi-Mahadebpur) constituency Md Fazle Huda Babul distributed sarees and lungis among poor and distressed people of the Hindu community in Mahadebpur upazila of the district today on the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja.

The distribution programme began at 11.00 am at Jahangirpur Model High School ground of the upazila.

Ratan Kumar Mondal, convener of the Mahadebpur Upazila Puja Celebration Front, presided over the programme.

Former Mahadebpur Upazila Parishad chairman and former upazila BNP general secretary Abdus Sattar Nannu, BNP senior vice-president Jaharul Islam, vice-president Md Akkas Ali and BNP organising secretary and former upazila vice-chairman Abdus Sattar, among others, attended the event.
