A signboard declaring the site as “vested property” has been installed by the district administration on the land of the abandoned and demolished office of the outlawed Rajshahi city Awami League in Kumarp?ra, Rajshahi city. The signboard was set up around 11:30 am on today. According to the signboard, the land is listed as Schedule ‘K’ vested property (vested and non-resident property). It also states that the Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner and Collector are responsible for managing the property on behalf of the Government of Bangladesh.

The signboard installed by the district administration also provides detailed information about the property. It shows that the land is located in Rampur mouza under Boalia Police Station in Rajshahi district. Its JL number is 10, Khatian number is 18, and Dag number is 281. The land is classified as “residential (house)” and has a total area of 0.4956 acres. Additionally, the VP case number is listed as 2/76. Sources concerned said that through this initiative by the district administration, the abandoned land in Kumarp?ra—formerly the office of the Rajshahi city Awami League—has now officially come under the control of the district administration as government property.
