Free medical camp for underprivileged people inaugurated at Muktijoddha Complex in Shah Ali Police Station

A free medical camp and medicine distribution was organized for underprivileged people in Shah Ali Police Station area on the initiative of Mostafa Jaglul Pasha Papel, former member secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North Jubo Dal. The overall direction of the camp was given by AK Azad Lenin and the organizers were Tanjib Alamin Ahnaf, member secretary of Chhatra Dal Shah Ali Police Station, in cooperation with Anand Niketan Primary School Muktijoddha Complex, Mirpur.
Mostafa Jaglul Pasha Papel said, Since August 5, I have been organizing one free medical camp every week regularly. Out of the 31 points announced by BNP, point number 26 mentions 'Healthcare for all' and this camp has been organized with that aim, so that low-income and middle-class people can get free medical services. Along with treatment, free medicines are also being distributed in each camp.
He further said that before the camp started, training was provided to the workers and the message of this initiative was conveyed by going door to door to the people of the area. He mentioned that this program will continue as part of the civic service of the people under the guidance of Mr. Tarique Rahman.
In response to a question from journalists, Papel said, Tarique Rahman is a symbol of our aspirations. He has always respected the law. Just as the Zia family was by the side of the people before independence, it is working for the welfare of the people even after independence. After 1975, martyred President Ziaur Rahman guided the nation on the right path. Later, in 1990, national leader Begum Khaleda Zia established democracy through the anti-dictatorship movement. Currently, the movement of the masses is moving forward under the leadership of patriot Tarique Rahman.”
He further expressed hope that after the cases filed against Tarique Rahman are settled through legal process, he will return to the country soon and the general public will start a new journey with him by their side. Papel said, “Tareque Rahman is a brave soldier for the new generation. "Under his leadership, Bangladesh will once again move forward on the right path." He further said, "I have continued the development and infrastructure development activities in the area, so that the people of 14 constituencies of Dhaka can experience real change." Local residents said that the inauguration of health services for the helpless has opened new possibilities for the development of the infrastructure of the area. Free treatment and medicines were provided to 400 deprived people.
